Clinical Analytics Project Manager

Position Summary:

Clinical Analytics Project Managers are skilled in data analytics, experienced in managing multi-stakeholder projects, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. They serve as a liaison between customers and the internal product team to translate key stakeholder requests into deliverables. The Clinical Analytics Project Manager works directly within our Client Services teams to customize, deploy, and service our product to meet our customers’ clinical, operational, and financial needs.

Clinical Analytics Project Managers have a passion for data analytics, a desire to connect with stakeholders, and a strong interest in supporting healthcare performance improvement initiatives. They offer creative and innovative solutions, exceptional technical skills, and strong project management guidance while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This position supports a leading Cardiovascular Performance Management company and requires an experienced data analyst with strong project management and customer service skills. This role is focused on supporting the client services team in successfully implementing innovative performance management solutions at some of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations. Additionally, the Clinical Analytics Project Manager will play a key role in onboarding new clients, ensuring a seamless transition into Biome’s platform, and optimizing their experience from the start.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design of cutting-edge analytics solutions for our platform, including rapid data prototyping using Tableau and SQL
  • Build and manage end-to-end project plans, monitoring and reporting progress. Effectively manage scope and dependencies while identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Collaborate internally and with customers across several functional areas to understand key operational needs and translate them into the creation of new product features and enhancements
  • Support the onboarding of new clients, ensuring they are effectively guided through the implementation process, data integration, and product training
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with project stakeholders
  • Manage the process of data acquisition from clients and ensure data quality in customer deliverables through rigorous quality review prior to release
  • Coordinate internal resources and clients for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor and track the progress of key client deliverables
  • Meet with clients to take detailed expectation guidelines and clarify specific project requirements
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills

Qualifications Required:

Required

  • BA/BS in a related field of study from an accredited college or university, and 3 or more years relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Professional experience with intelligence, statistical, and analytic and visualization tools, and statistical or visualization tools such as Tableau & mySQL/SQL
  • Experience working with healthcare organizations and a passion for performance improvement
  • Experience in management of data and analytics projects
  • Skilled at deriving meaningful and actionable recommendations from analytical work products to improve deliverables
  • Experience fostering exceptional client satisfaction
  • At least 3 years of overall work experience, with experience in data analytics, data management, and project management
  • Experience in working on projects that have involved the introduction of new ways of working / processes / methodologies into a deliverable
  • Highly proficient in project management principles, methods, techniques and tools
  • Experience working with requirements management tools, Jira preferred
  • Excellent time management skills creative approach to analytical problem solving and a relentless passion for quality
  • Track record of working in teams and managing customer-focused projects
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Advanced ability using MS Office, particularly using data-oriented programs such as MS Excel to conduct analysis (e.g., Pivot tables, charts)
  • Ability to communicate analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise language
  • Excellent in establishing client relationships and oral and written communications skills
  • Proven skills in developing great client relationships and entrepreneurial spirit/interest in working in a fast-growth environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills, and a desire to work in a team setting to iterate approaches to problem solving and draw connections between data and ideas
  • Desire to contribute to strategic company growth 

Preferred

  • Experience using common data science software (SQL, R, Python, SAS, VBA) and stats packages
  • Experience with Cardiovascular Healthcare Data analytics (Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery) acute care or outpatient
  • Related graduate-level degree. Academic training in public health, operations research, biostatistics, informatics, engineering, natural sciences or computer science, is also a plus

Up to 25% travel
