No. Expert performance improvement support is included in every Biome engagement. Our team works alongside your clinical, quality, and administrative leaders to interpret data, identify opportunities, and support implementation, without add-on service fees.
No. Biome does not require direct EMR integration to operate. The platform works with administrative, registry, and cost accounting data from their sources. This enables us to deliver key insights in days, not months, and avoids lengthy EMR integration requirements. Optional EMR-based feeds can be added to support deeper clinical insights as needed.
Data can be refreshed quarterly, monthly, or more frequently depending on your data feeds. All data undergo validation to ensure leaders are working from timely, reliable insights.
Most Biome implementations take approximately four weeks from data submission to insights being delivered, depending on data complexity and the modules selected.
For centers experienced in extracting comparable financial data, the initial effort typically requires approximately 20 hours and may be further streamlined. Teams that are new to this process or rely on external partners may require up to 40 hours for initial setup. Once established, quarterly data submission requires less than one hour of effort from a Service Line Business or Data Analyst per quarter.
